How to Use The Car Dent Repair Kit

Steps

1. Prepare the Surface: Use the included wash cloth to clean the dent area thoroughly, ensuring the surface is free of dust and debris.

2. Heat the Glue: You will need a glue gun (not included in the kit) for this step. Insert a glue stick into the glue gun. Connect the glue gun to a power source and allow it to preheat for 5 minutes.

3. Select the Right Tab: Choose a drawing gasket (tab) that matches the size of the dent. Larger dents require larger tabs for effective removal.

4. Apply Glue to Tab: After the glue gun is heated, pull the trigger to apply hot glue evenly onto the tab. Ensure all 4 holes of the tab are covered with glue.

5. Place Tab on Dent: Quickly position the tab with the hot glue at the center of the dent. Press it lightly against the dent until the glue cools and adheres properly (approximately 8 minutes, slightly less in colder temperatures).

6. Remove the Dent: Align the T-shaped repairer (reverse hammer) with the tab. Pull the repairer's sliding rod backwards to lift the dent out of the surface.

7. Check and Adjust: Use a line board to assess the dent removal. If any part of the dent remains, gently tap it with a flattening hammer or pen to even it out.

8. Clean the Area: Once the dent is removed, clean the repaired area with the included wash cloth. Use an approved solvent that is safe for car paint (to be obtained by the customer) to remove any glue residue from the car body.
