My dad has a hobby of grafting avocado trees. I got this for him for Christmas and he LOVES it. lol. He said it makes it way easier to cut the branches this way. Super stoked !
While it has not been proven in a full multi tree operation, the trial work has shown great results.
I've been trying to get my roses grafted to create the species i want. these are incredible sharp and leave a straight clean cut. i have use on apple tree cuttings as well.
Makes a clean cut and if you match diameters of scion and stock you get a good fit.
Bought it for my wife, she seems to like it. Case is nice.
First time changing the blade/cutters was not very easy. The screws was tightened so tight you need King Kong muscles to loosen them up. Very difficult to change cutters. The sacrificial block for the cutter blades wears out too fast. Also there’s no clear instructions on how to cut the branches and butt them together to make the graft. Used one time and gave up due to difficult handling.
Well constructed and easy to use. The instructions are simple to follow. I would highly recommend. The Price was really affordable.
