Tried it on cherry, mahogany, and some other darker hardwoods. I must admit I wasn't expecting a lot as I've had lots of tools over the years, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, especially given the price. It works its way through the wood fast, leaving a smooth, almost polished look. Doesn't wobble and feels very sturdy.

My first experience trying them on didn't go as planned because I applied them the wrong way. But then I did as the instructions say (clipped them on sideways!). This totally changed the result! I got that bounce & volume that they advertise after only about half hour of wearing them!
